Translated Landscape
Solo Exhibition at OH Art Foundation
June 20 – July 13, 2025
Translated Landscape is created using a unique interpretive method of ink-water color painting on paper. These works trace influence from Taoist philosophy and spirituality, seeking to express dialogue between perceptions of nature, the origin of life, and balance of human experience. Exploring perception through the rich cultural inheritance and artistic expression of the medium, it bridges gestures of bi-cultural expression through innovative modern artistic interpretation. These segments of time-based work on paper, made while looking at ancient landscapes, capture a unique relationship with organic and intentionally delicate materials and processes in relation to today’s fast-paced manufactured world.
